2021 Lake Tahoe Marthon Swims

2021 swim season was a great year for Tahoe open water swims! Our last year swims have been posted to the long swim database. We want to thank Evan Morrison for providing Track RS and adding our swims to the MSF website! We appreciate all the people who helped during our season. In 2018 Angel Moore at the age of 15 swam the length of Tahoe 15h39m10s. Last year she swam the Viking 6h52m31s then swam the Tahoe Width (considered the True Width) 8h03m16s back-to-back achieving a Tahoe Triple Crown! Michael Rice swam the fastest ever length of Tahoe Length 8h36m42s! Catherine Breed remains the fastest female from her super-fast swim in 2017 8h56m17s I'm not sure either record will be broken anytime soon! James Savage (age 14) Swam the Length of Tahoe 11h53m19s not only becoming the youngest to swim the Length of Tahoe also achieving the Tahoe Triple Crown. He previously swam the Viking age 12 5h14m59s, age 13 the Godfather 6h59m39s and Tahoe Width 6h17m52s. July 3rd 2021 Robin Rose helped me create a new official LTMSF swim route The Thunderbird 13.5 Mile swim as well. Then Seth Horowitz swim the third official Thunderbird swimmer July 17th becoming the faster Thunderbird so far at 8h52s54s. Many other amazing achievements during the year!
